Roseville has largely been considered one of the premier office submarkets in the greater Sacramento area due to its safe and secure environment, diverse housing options, educated and affluent demographics and retail amenities. In the past Roseville was “the hub” for all things residential real estate related (home developer, mortgage companies, title companies, etc.). It has since diversified, adding healthcare and technology companies, due in large part to the executive housing in Roseville and surrounding area and the development of telecommuting that permitted companies to open offices close to their homes rather than in Central Business Districts downtown. There has also been a flight to quality for companies from downtown Sacramento and adjacent submarkets, including the Bay Area, escaping homelessness, crime and high parking rates.
